Where Words Inspire, Connect, and Transform

A Love That Never Needed Words

by | Jul 14, 2021 | Love & Emotions, Poetry

You spoke in glances, quiet sighs,
A language woven through your eyes.
No need for letters, ink, or rhyme,
Your love was written out in time.

A hand that brushed against my sleeve,
A pause before you chose to leave.
The way your footsteps slowed for me,
The silence humming like the sea.

No paper holds what we once knew,
No poem writes the love of two,
Whose hearts were tied in unseen chords,
A love that never needed words.
